Man heard noise a bit after 4 am. Took his gun and discovered another man in basement and held at gunpoint. Wife called 911, cops arrived 4 min later.

Lucky for him that he is still alive. It was not really a good ending as he will be out doing the same thing shortly and eventually will not meet such a nice ending.
