Very true! 6 or 7 rounds is not what I would want to have facing multiple attackers. Always best to have a spare mag.

Good full-size 9mm pistols like the M&P or G17 hold 17 rounds in their magazines and would be much better for a multiple attacker situation.

My wife carries her Walther PPS M2 LE 8+1 with a 7 round spare mag. I carry my S&W M&P M2.0 9mm 5inch 16+1 with two 16 round spares. Works for us.
