SB 2065 - Conference Committee Report Filed - PASSED

#1

Post by mdubtx »

**Edited to remove my original post and link to a wrong report. I had seen the original House committee report and read it to be the conference committee report.

This can be locked or left open for those of us following SB 2065. Thanks / Sorry for the error.

Ah. Thank you Papa_Tiger. So, the House Committee Report linked above is separate?

Saw committee and it was at the bottom of the list. Wish these things were dated but my error.

I think both the house and senate still need to adopt the conference committee report. [But, have already been wrong in this thread before.]

It's headed to the governor. The senate just adopted.

Congratulations to Representative Rinaldi. HB 421 never got out of calendars and still makes its way to the governor.

Well done!

I say, there have been a couple of ones to get slipped through this session. Good work, all.

As relating to LTC it allows volunteers organize as "church security" and not run afoul of the PSB.

There's a number of other things about pedicures and vehicle boots and such that doesn't apply to most of us here.

Finally I can continue my hair braiding and 'nit picking' business without receiving my barber and cosmetology license. Now can I do math without being a professional engineer?

Great. So from what I can see, it has been "enrolled." It still has to be signed by both houses before the session is over. I assume that will happen? Then I assume the governor has no reason to veto it? I hate making assumptions! Remember: "it ain't over 'til the fat lady sings!" Sings or signs, as the case may be! "rlol"

Correct.
I hope it was signed, maybe just delayed in posting to the TLO website.
It has to be signed to go to the Executive.
