Torn on this one. This feels like more special carve-outs for specific individuals which I'm generally opposed to.

The last time I looked I could find only one or two schools that actually used a "School Marshal," because the law is so restrictive and cumbersome. The "Guardian Program" provides more flexibility and more armed staff, and pretty much every school that has gone with allowing carry by staff/teachers/administrators has chosen the Guardian Program.

Comping the fee for a School Marshal is a nice gesture, but I don't think any time should be wasted on this bill.

I offered free LTC classes for Huffman ISD, which allows (some) armed teachers. I sent an email to the superintendents office. They said they would get back to me. Nothing 3 months later...
