Bump-stocks and the SCOTUS

The SCOTUS decision in NYSRPA v. Bruen has spawned numerous 2A cases. This justifies the creation of this new forum.

Bump-stocks and the SCOTUS

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

The SCOTUS has denied cert in two bump-stock cases. This has generated a number of YouTube videos and other Internet posts that read too much into this denial. Below is a video that gives what I believe to be a more accurate view of the SCOTUS view on the subject of regulatory agencies "making law." Mark Smith has the credentials to opine as he does, unlike many other folks without his experience and expertise.

Charles,

Thank you for sharing this. It will be interesting to watch this chess game play out. I hope that these rogue agencies will be stripped of the power that they don't rightfully have.

That means the SRT case would have to have the same fate.

Wow! The machinations of the courts are mind boggling to me. I would never make it in the legal field, it just seem too illogical to my non-lawyer mind. Thanks for posting.

That video was amazing and is consistent with what we saw out of the court in the last term.

I pray that this analysis is correct and SCOTUS will take a major step to restoring constitutional law in America soon.
