Hard Copy CHL-16 from DPS

#1

Post by jmorris »

Does anyone know if this comes in the booklet form? Half-page, stapled in the middle? Not really what I want, which is full page, 3-hole punched.

If so, do you know anywhere to get it printed for less than $5.00 a copy? All the on-line shops come up more that that, although some not by much. I thought at least one person here hand mentioned a better price.

Yeah, I know you have the extras kg5ie but I'm not in that area.

Thanks

Found this online copy shop. $0.025 per page. So CHL-16 is $2.38 for double sided, 3-hole punched.

I thought shipping was a little high but if you order $125 worth it's free for UPS ground. It should be here in a couple of days so I'll update on the quality then.

Good price. If you buy 100 and have them printed in booklet form you cut the page count from the 84 down to 42. Have them saddle stitched and they are $1.30 each for the 100. Course you will need to fold them yourself (or have student do it) and they won't be trimmed....but still a steal at $1.30 each.

Might order a sample.

Good info. I hand out a three-ring binder[1] so booklet form is what I didn't want which is why I asked if the DPS version was.

Got the package. Excellent job. Each stack separated by colored paper makes it easy.

Might also note that in making changes to my setup I accidentally left it at single-sided instead of double-sided. Emailed them, got response within an hour and they changed it.

One other note is that the text seems slightly smaller than normal. I perhaps should have set the page to print to the edges (bleed) as it seems to have shrunk the PDF page down to the printable area. Still very readable but might have been a bit better.

So if you want to go with 200 Shiloh is better, but under that Best Value Copy. My only problem with buying 200, which would last me a long time, is if changes are made to CHL-16 (which DPS just did).
