Board will be down for maintenance tonight

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton » Fri Jun 17, 2011 12:20 pm

I will be taking the Forum off line tonight at approx. 11:00pm to update the software. If all goes well, it should only take about 30 minutes.

Thanks,
Chas.

From my IT experience, we usually want a 4 hour outage and the business/sales wants a 15 minute outage... :D

Thanks for the notice, Charles.

Remember the sabbath day and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God: you shall not do any work — you, your son or daughter, your male or female slave, or your cattle, or the stranger who is within your settlements. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth and sea, and all that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it. - Exodus 20:8-11
Apparently even TXCHLF needs a break too... And it just so happens that tonight begins the Shabbat. Shabbat Shalom! :tiphat:

False alarm. The latest software is already installed. I don't know why I got an email that a new version was out.

We still appreciate the hard work you do to keep things running smoothly and securely, even with the false alarm.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Charles, this board is wonderful. The information is great, and I love our "family". Thanks for giving us such a great place to gather.
