This Beretta is a Keeper

#1

Post by carlson1 »

I have never had a great love for Beretta’s. I had a Wilson Combat Beretta before, but I am not for sure which model however I sold it to another Forum member and have hated it ever since. I recently picked up another Wilson Combat Beretta Centurion 92G. It has no safety just the decocker. I have never been a huge fan of DA/SA pistols until now. I bought the pistol and sent it back to Wilson Combat for their special tuning. The trigger is like butter and is nice and crisp. This is the keeper.

We long-time Beretta owners have known that all along. Naturally good triggers, reliable, and accurate. Wilson doesn't have to do much to them because they're really good right out of the box.

I have the Beretta 92x compact. What a nice gun it is. I wish I had one for each hip.

LOL.... My wife would be for you selling it to me... Every time I take her to the range she hogs it from me... Every time someone wants to buy a Glock I let them shoot my Beretta... Not so impressed with Glock anymore.. Haha....

I am liking the look of that gun more and more. I have never ever considered a Beretta for purchase. I have always been an XD, Shield, or Glock man. But I really like that Beretta now. Thanks Carl! :mad5 ;-) ;-)

I have heard people say in the past, “I can’t miss with this gun.” Well I have never had that gun until now. Two hundred and twenty rounds flawless. The target below is 12 yards, standing, two hands, right hand (dominant), and left hand. After some more practice this will be my go-to. I shoot it better than my EDC X9 which I didn’t think was possible. I am no marksman, but it is great for me.

This is the WC Beretta you sold me a few years back. Like you said, you can’t miss. This is 30 rounds at 7 yards.

Good shooting my friend. You have the Brigadier Tactical right? This new one is the Centurion and it is the same except for the barrel being 1” shorter. I am now a Beretta fan. I never loved the polymer stuff anyways.

Correct, and I’ll take a all metal hammer fired pistol over anything. I admit to carrying a polymer Shield just because of the weight but my heart belongs to the metal.
The beretta was on the range with me for both my NRA and LTC instructor qualifications.
