I posted this story on my social media with the following sarcastic comments:

"Crime? What crime? There's no crime! Sure am glad that all that mattered to so many voters this cycle was student loan forgiveness and "free" abortions. How long will it be before this sex trafficking dirtbag is back out on the street thanks to soft-on-crime Democrats? Oh, not to mention the Democrats would have been much happier if the ride-share driver hadn't been armed, oh, how scary..."

Not that we don't have way too much crime here in Texas, but at least police here try to stop this stuff, and at least our state government isn't trying to disarm us. Glad enough voters here in Texas understood what was at stake.
