Springfield Prodigy observations

#1

Post by RPBrown »

I picked up a Prodigy today, cleaned it and went to the range. Here are my observations. First, my dislikes.

(1) it's a 9mm and not a 45 :cryin I'm a purest :tiphat:
(2) the slide lock release is too far forward. Going to take some getting used to. Best to release with my off hand.

Now the likes.
(1) feels good in my hand. Well balanced
(2) shoots better than I do
(3) has eat all types of spare 9mm that I had laying around including Wolf.
(4) went through 400 rounds with nary a hiccup

Overall I really like it and it will roll into my EDC lineup very soon. Have to order a new holster first
