Thinking of selling 1st generation Kel-Tec P3AT

#1

Post by JimmyD »

Hello,

I have a First Generation (I think that's what they are called) Kel-Tec P3AT that I bought new in 2005. By First Generation, I'm referring to the version that was out before the "Frankenbolt" slide design change. It has a chrome slide and less than 300 rounds fired through it with zero malfunctions. I have the original box, case, lock & keys and also 2 magazines with extensions.

I live in the DFW area and I am thinking about selling it. Can anyone suggest what a fair selling price would be? Once I decide to sell, I can post pictures.

Thanks!

1st gen is not going to bring much - even hard chromed. Maybe $125 to $180 depending on condition and maybe a couple more $$s for the plating. The extractor was not reliable and kinda gave the little gun a bad reputation. You probably are better off just keeping it as a truck or tackle box weapon. I have a later gen P3AT that ran flawless out of the box - but it is still my backup...
