Beautiful gun! No telling how much it will bring. It's a 2 week auction starting yesterday at 1pm Texas time & the current bid is already $10,675.

Bid jumped over 4k yesterday on one bid. aviers1 then bumps it by 25 the minimum.

No dog in the fight other than observable notoriety.

I would get one of the 1k production units aside from funds. Cannot say I would ever carry or use it at the range.
Would in fact other than verifying full function end up as a safe queen I would be loath to leave in the safe.
I would hope the those who earned the Trident are the only ones able to get these.

That thing is really nice. MSRP on the others is $2500. Guess I better start saving my pennies. Although, what are the odds of actually finding one? And then that is anywhere near $2500? OTOH, a non-CK version is only around $1500-$1700, no? If it was good enough for CK it should be good enough for C-dub. That might be my first 1911 in the near future.
