I know this isn't a very popular thing to say on a board like this one, but I really don't have a lot of guns.
Everybody starts somewhere. Having a single firearm is no disgrace; having many doesn't make you special. The main thing is you have taken the step to own one as a way to protect and defend yourself, your family and propery and actively support our most important right. Kudos to you. :tiphat:

This would be a lot easier, and cheaper, if we assembled one super collection out of our collective collections. Then we can pass ownership of it every six months. The only downside is the first person would no doubt lose the entire bunch in a 'tragic boating accident.'

I guess everyone has an AK-47 (or nobody wants one). I like mine.

My wish list:
Currently researching first bolt rifle in .308
Lever action rifle, caliber not determined
Ruger PC Carbine
Higher quality AR-15 than the one I have- perhaps a Daniel Defense
Suppressors for every gun, thus threaded barrels for every gun.
Mossberg 930 JM Pro
1911 in .45

30 rd. Nothing in the way of a rifle is as cheap to shoot and certainly a ton of fun.

I’m sure I can think of others, but those three are at the top of my list.

Edited to add: I already own a SCAR 17S, and have owned an AR10 (now belongs to C-dub), but I would like to add a FAL to my collection some day.

I have tarted up my WASR a bit, and I like it a lot, but I’m still an AR guy.

More of a dream gun ($$$$) than a missing collection piece, Anzio Ironworks 50/20!
20mm cannon case necked to 50 caliber!

I like mine too. It looks very Russian, and does very Russian things when the trigger is pulled.

Well, when it comes down to it, I already have every firearm I'd want in a utilitarian sense. Every "missing" item is more for fun or for collection. With that in mind, here is my wish list no particular order:

FN FAL
Auto Ordnance Thompson 1927
AK, black furniture, chambered in 5.56 w/ an adapter that takes STANAG mags (I'm weird like that)
Stainless 1911 (10mm?)
MP5K clone
FN SLP
10mm sub gun of some sort with 25-30 round mag capacity (they don't exactly grow on trees, so MP5/10?)
Ruger 22 Charger Takedown
Side by side 10 gauge
Lever action shotgun
Lever action 45-70
Mare's Leg in .45 colt
Semi-auto 50 BMG
Any WW1/WW2 era firearm with a story to tell. I love my historical firearms.

I need to win the lottery

Jusme wrote:There are a lot of guns on my "wish list" but, for what I consider "needed guns" are a 12 gauge semi auto, with both a short "tactical" barrel and a full length for hunting. A semi auto in 308, a revolver in 357, and a pistol caliber carbine in 9 mm. I would like to outfit my entire family with an AR, just to have the available back up.
I'm with you on the wish list vs. "to budget for" list. And a 12 gauge semi is at the top of that list. Specifically this Benelli but it's going to take some saving to get enough discretionary dollars. I'm not a bird hunter or skeet shooter, so I don't really need a longer barrel. If I decide I can't afford the Benelli later this year I'll look at something else. My backup plan may be a Remington Versamax, a 22 inch 8+1 model at about half the price of the Benelli.

Second is a 9mm pistol that's more suitable to competition than anything I have now. Not IPSC Open division type whizbang, but IDPA type competition. I have a 9MM XD Tactical, but it's the standard model and has a fairly mushy trigger and basic iron sights. I know I could get it tweaked, but I'd rather keep it factory and buy something else for the purpose. I've had teh M&P and G34 recommended to me, but I already have a number of mags for the 9mm XD and would like to see if I can find a competition ready XD that can use the same mags.

Maybe strangely, I'd like another mirror image of my XDm carry gun. You know, two is one and one is none. Since it's my main handgun, seems like a good idea to have two of them.

First on the not-budgeting-for but wish I had list would be a decent but not super high price rifle for long range target and maybe hunting. The one I keep coming back to is the Ruger Precision Rifle. Don't know which caliber I'd choose, but I wouldn't turn down either a 6.5 or .308. Just in case Santa Claus is listening.
