I've been a subscriber to his youtube channel for quite awhile. I appreciate his thoroughness as well as showing how his tests work, rather than JUST giving you the results.

Great information. It seems like they have an “oil of the week” club. I have always used Ballistol. The Ballistol works well on the wood stocks and grips too. Ballistol does not hurt the G-10 grips or polymer. I will stick with Ballistol for me. Again though a great informative videos.

I never cared for Ballistol. MPro7 is the best solvent I've used and I follow that up with 50/50 Kroil Hoppes mix.

I watched his video. I can attest to frog lube sucking in cold weather. It caused my shotgun to cease cycling in temps below freezing. After seeing that I trashed it. Also I can’t stand the smell of hoppes. I was glad to see slip 2k fail like it did in some areas. I’ve got a buddy who thinks it’s the only thing that works. While it may work in most cases it’s not the best.
