Ironically the reasoning is that the 6 shot revolvers are at a disadvantage to crooks using 16 shot 9mm's due to reloads and down time... yet the public can't use said 15 round mags as they serve no purpose beyond killing innocent children. :headscratch

Wait a minute... so you are telling me that the criminals still have 15 round magazines? I don't believe it. Not for one second. The SAFE act made those illegal. Issue all cops 7 round mags!

Yeah, but do they also have to get rid of their 'blunderbuss' too?

Aw, man....that ain't right.

Next, they''ll have to 'deep six' their low capacity 1911's too...

They made their own bed, they can lie in it.
From what I have read once upon a time just about every NYPD precinct house had a firing range in the basement, and the ranges were closed down due to lead accumulation and inadequate ventilation. Instead of installing OSHA type ventilation systems and continuing to use the range, they are now used for storage, etc.

Not to mention their special NY Triggers on their Glocks. No training and awful, heavy trigger. Might as well ask them to miss.

no mention of Chief Lee Brown?

Houston Radio personalities used to make fun of him as Houston PD chief before he became New York Commissioner and made the rule all officers would only carry revolvers, yet he himself carried a Glock 17
In 1990s, under Bill Clinton, he solved America's drug problem
He was like the 1980s-early 2000s 'Liberal to laugh at' version of Arty Acevedo Houston Radio personalities poked fun at

2.1.1 Police chief - Houston
2.1.2 Police Commissioner - New York City
1993 Brown was appointed by President Bill Clinton as his Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP, or "Drug Czar"), and moved to Washington, DC.
2.2 Mayor of Houston
