Have been getting into Turkish Guns

#1

Post by Tex1961 »

Last year I purchased a Canik TP9sf.(9mm) Recently I have followed up with a Tristar T-100 (Canik 55 9mm and a Sarlimaz K2 45acp.

If any of you have read any of the reviews on the Caniks, you'll know that they have fantastic trigger pulls, reliable and absolute workhorses. The Tristar T100 is based on the CZ design and the SAR, well... If you like large all metal, hammer fired double stack 14 round 45acp handguns then you love this baby...

Politics aside as this is about the guns, not the politics. I have been very impressed and quite happy with my purchases. I only post this to add to any discussions about these firearms.

I have a CZ-75 Compact clone made by Sarsilmaz that like very much. It was sold by Academy for a few years and called Hancer 2000.

Canik's are phenomenal guns for the price. I own several of the TP9 line and I love them.

It is very affordable.
Pistol $425 (online order)
Burris Red Dot $225 or less
Extra Magazine $28 ordered online with the pistol
Shipping and $10 FFL fee
Less than $700

Addons: Front sight some $50 from Dawson.
Speed holster: Hogue speed holster, less than $100
Mag Carrier: Blackhawk, maybe some $30

I’d actually been saving up for one, but I found the Sarslimaz 45acp. And since I already have 4 9mm pistols and wanted a 45 I spent it on that. I’ll just start my gun piggy bank again for one.

You cant beat a Canik for the money. I sold all my glocks and dont really carry my 1911s anymore. The trigger is the best in the striker industry per the reviewers and I believe it. Have 6 now and highly recommend them.
