Over time, I can't recall a thread which describes the various pros and cons of various twist rates in
firearms.

Although the above link contains a lot of intricate scientific details on rifling and twist rates, feel free
to comment on whatever all y'all may be able to add.

Polygonal rifling is currently seen on pistols from CZ, Heckler & Koch, Glock, Tanfoglio, and Kahr Arms, as well as the Desert Eagle.

It seems that "twist rate" is most important on rifles, but the above pistol brands deem it fitting to use polygonal rifling on their weapons.
