Ammo Supplier?

#1

Post by Lynyrd »

I've read a few comments here about your favorite ammo supplier, but it's been awhile. Companies change, and new ones emerge. So who is your go to ammo supplier right now? I have been using Palmetto State Armory for a long time. But I'm wondering if there is a better supplier out there.
Do what you say you're gonna do.

These are my primary three, but I’m always looking for the best price per round.

My reloading bench. It has gotten to the point where I feel cheated if I didn't build the ammo. My stuff is just better....cheaper, better ballistics or low pressure/recoil. Rolling your own becomes a part of the shooting experience.

I'm not just saying that because I want to impress strangers. I dont reload shotshells because I cant beat factory cost or ballistics. I'm not special, I just read up and am not afraid to fiddle in a semi-scientific manner. Reloading, to me, is an integral part of shooting.

I’ll second this, but sometimes my favorite ammo supplier is available for the job. Also, I only own a single stage press. It makes for very precise custom tailored rifle loads, but it’s not much help for bulk pistol ammo.

Online, ive had good luck with Target Sports, and Big Daddy Unlimited.

The problem with them is that they sell out so quickly on popular calibers that their bulk stuff is almost never available. Great ammo, but if I can’t get it, I can’t shoot it.
