Of course not, this is the NRA.
This isn’t a given, The have events which are NOT gun friendly.
Being that I've been to quite a few NRA events in the last 3 or 4 years, including the nationals, without encountering any that were not gun friendly could you provide an example?

The advert for one of their banquets here a couple years ago stated no guns. Kept me from going then and since.

If I remember a discussion here a few years back, one instance was an American Legion or VFW that was posted 51% - so it wasn't the NRA in that situation. But they did inform members so that they would not break the law. But I have never seen the NRA make an event off limits for carry.

I could see that happening but haven't run into it. But then not too long ago I got an invite to one of (legal company not to be named)'s seminars and when I checked locations they were all at VFWs, all posted.

Anyone else going to the Expo this weekend? I'm taking vacation day tomorrow to attend both Friday and Saturday.

Are you sure you’re not thinking of the Dallas Safari Club banquet? They’ve been posted for several years now. I don’t remember ever having seen an NRA event posted.

I'll be RSO in the live fire range. If anyone likes an alternative to traffic and parking, TEX Rail is very nice and convenient, less than 2 blocks from CC. :thewave

Was a great day today! Haven't been following this thread so I don't think I realized who I was bumping into on the live fire range, etc. Firing 5 FREE rounds out of a 1911 is always fun! The guys at Laser Shot were very generous to allow me time on all their equipment.

Learned a lot from Paul Howe and some new things from Eric Frohardt as well as the guys a the UTM shoot House. Wish I had more time to see the rest.

All and all a wonderful group of people at the Expo! People from all backgrounds who were very friendly and polite and knowledgeable. :txflag:

If anybody is going to John Correia's seminar on "The most important skills you will need in a gunfight", I'd be curious to hear what he has to say.
