What I learned today!

You can’t lift prints off a muddy truck, the cops won’t even try
If they fine guns, they take them, even a longgun
They like Ipods,
No one stocks windows on new body style autos
I am in the market for an new 38, new duck gun, new Ipod, and new window
At least 4 cars were hit, they got 2 guns, 2 Ipods, 1 purse, 1 camera.
And there is at least 1 cop in my town who likes to talk about CHL’s and glad to know I carry every were,

Cops think it’s kids from the local “college prep school, 6K a year tuition, not broke kids.

Had the serial number off my 38, but I bought the 12G off a buddy, so I am trying to reach him to get it. I hope they get cought.

Pain. :mad5

I feel for you, Cjate. The NRA covers the firearms up to $1,000.

Taurus 38 and Bennelli nova hardly add up to 1k,

I live in central Texas, corner of a busy street and not a busy street. in a GREAT neighbor, (i.e. the college prep school)

Of the 4 hit, mine was in the middle, had to have been in a car, no one would run through a neighborhood on foot with my 28" duck gun hanging on their shoulder. Kids are dumb, hitting cars in back yards, where if caught ,,,no where to run. And strange, some cars digging for change, others not touching wallets left out. Clearly same kids, same time…

May I suggest getting a quality car alarm? I've lived in "good" neighborhoods most of my life and have had 1 new truck stolen and another broken into (attempted theft). I lost a Glock handgun in the first incident; after that I wised up and put alarms in all my vehicles. Haven't had any problems since. Thieves are lazy and seldom motivated enough to contend with any kind of anti-theft device (provided you don't leave things out in plain sight to tempt them). If they see a blinking light in your dash, chances are they will pass it up for an easier target.
