Someone(s) going to get some time away from work, and remedial training, I imagine.

I wonder if we will ever find out how it happened.

This would be the Uniformed Division, not the Protection Division.

We would hope that the uniforms are properly trained, since they guard the White House, but they are not the agents of SS lore.

As for how it happened, we already know how: somebody unholstered a pistol and pulled the trigger. Now, the why... that's doubtful!

Maybe from somewhere behind "the blue wall" we will hear something like, "The agent was cleaning the gun when it somehow went off. Since the investigation is ongoing, we will have no further comment"

After all, they don't call it "the Secret Service" for nothing. I'll bet their blue wall is a tad higher than most departments'.

Accidental Discharge? No. There are no accidents.

Someone needs to go read the gun rules again.

I was actually thinking it went more like this:

Agent 1- Hey, A2, you see my new piece yet?

Agent 2- No, what did you say you got A1?

Agent 1-Check this out, (as he draws his new gun from its holster), BLAM,
oh man, sorry.

Agent 2-Aahgh!!!!!!!!

Agent 3-Freeze, (as he draws down and serioustly thinks about having his own ND), Drop it and assume the position.

Something like that
