Got my kit already - I'll install it tomorrow
Which one did you get? I want to find out what the size of the circle is on the UFO one -- I'm really curious if it'll fit my Hornady Classic press
I got the 6" as recommended for the Hornady Lock n Load progressive.

I like that setup better than others I've seen. I just ordered one. If I like it, I'll order another one for my other XL650.

Thanks for the tip.
Chas.
My light came just a few days after I ordered it, but I just installed it today. It works very well and it lets me work without a desk-mounted work light. That helps more than one would imagine.

There's another benefit. I previously posted on the endoscope and HP tablet I use to verify powder in a case. With the new KMS Squared LED lights, I can turn the endoscope light off which means the tablet battery will last much longer.

I'll order another one for my other press.

Glad you like it. I'm more impressed with it every day (that I use it).

Now however you've peaked my interest with your tablet setup. What are the details there?

This KMS UFO thing is slick! I got it installed in about 5 minutes - 2 of which were simply to let the alcohol evaporate - and I don't think the process could have been any easier. Now, I bought this to replace the sputtering one from a competitor which, to be fair, is 4 years old but here's why I think the UFO is better:

1. Less expensive

2. Far more lighting - like, a LOT more lighting! Not just in terms of raw lumens but everywhere is lit up now, whereas before it was a dim, one-angle light that, while I could see the powder in the case, made it hard to see any details re the shells across the other side of the stage.

Yep, a must-have.

Here is a link to an article (with photos) I wrote on the simple project.

I contacted KMS, and for the LNL Classic press he suggested the 3.75", I just ordered it.

For some reason, the link to it on Amazon will not appear when I post it. Here's a link to the article and it has a link to Amazon. https://www.texasfirearmscoalition.com/ ... llon-xl650

That's pretty slick, thanks for sharing!

Edit: My apologies, I see you actually shared details on that already. I'm sorry I missed that.
