Re: 45 (Long) Colt load recommendations
Using the projectiles you have listed, I recommend getting the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook.

It has at least 15 different loads for each of the slugs you have listed.
What powders do you have in mind?

Guns are like parachutes, if your ever in a situation that you need one and you dont have one, you'll probably never need one again.

What firearm are you shooting them out of? Different 45 Colt firearms can be loaded to very different pressures.

oops.
Ruger SBH, so I'll consider Ruger/Contender only loads for hunting :-)
powders: Green Dot, Power Pistol, SR4756, Universal, and 2400

I have some. Forgot to include it in the list. I've used it for 38spl and its what I'm going to start with for 45LC.Not listed in your available powders, but the Trailboss powder seems to be ideal for low pressure loads in the cases originally designed for bulky black powder.

Re: 45 (Long) Colt load recommendations
Back when I was younger, taller, and more nearly indestructible I shot a lot of .45 Colt out of a Ruger Blackhawk. My powder of choice was Unique. Alliant says 9.5 grains max behind both the 200 and 250 grain cast. All my records from back then were destroyed by Ike. My best recollection I used 8.5 with the 200 and 9.0 with the 250 both loads shot 2" or less at 25 yards offhand and 2.5-3.0" at 50 yards rested.
Hodgdon has several loads listed on their website for the Ruger etc. guns.
