I have not tried powder coated but shot a lot of hi-tek and precision black coated bullets... purely curious as to the draw to powder coat vs hi-tek? Is it a lower cost option or just a different coating?

One of my friends is a big coyote hunter and has a custom Model 70. He tried coating his own and buying manufactured. He said he saw no benefit to moly coated and quit reloading them. He did not try pistol loads.

Wow, you mush have a great source of inexpensive, raw projectiles if your time and effort to coat bullets still beats it! :cheers2:
