Can Macromedia Fireworks 8 be used to merge one photo into another photo?

Yes, it will at least 6.0 will do it

Are you trying to lay one on top of the other, or do a side by side.

Charles,

Are you talking about 'shape morphing' where one image 'melts' from one into another? If so, then yes, it will do it.

I was trying to put a photo of a car into a landscape scene. I decided not to use it.
