Webinars (video): Web hosts

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

Does anyone have first hand experience with hosting services for video webinars? I'd like some recommendations, prices, etc. Also, I would need to be able to limit those watching to people with an event ID and password.

Thanks,
Chas.

I thought GoToMeeting was only for live broadcasts. I need steaming video hosting that will present prerecorded video.

If you're looking to share password protected pre-recorded videos, Vimeo works well.

Sorry, thought you were looking for live seminar type broadcasts. For on-demand pre-recorded video, then as TVGuy stated Vimeo will work

Another club I was part of used Vimeo for this use and it worked very well. We posted them to a member only forum and limited the playback within our site only.
