Is this the precedent set for anytime the leo’s or government wants information from inside your house? Looks like those warning others could be correct! :bigear:

Does a company based in a state different than the local judge have to turn over customer data just because the judge says to?

Why anyone would want one of these privacy self invasion devices in their home is perplexing to me.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

It's a known fact that your iPhone, and apps on them, as well as Alexa and other smart devices monitor and track your usage, including ambient sounds and key words via microphones. Just recently my wife had been talking about an item, but had not searched on her phone or computer, but Facebook suddenly showed up with ads for the item from a couple of different sources.

Our daughter works professionally in corporate social media and will tell you that they track a lot of location and sound data on customers. Most people just click OK on the terms of use agreement when installing an app oe software and fail to realize they have given permission to share data like that.

Here is a good article on it http://time.com/money/5219041/how-to-tu ... ok-spying/
