Background check?

I'm applying for the Texas Hunter/Boater Education Instructor certificate and was asked about any and all convictions including speeding tickets. I have had a few "cough-cough" traffic tickets but they were 20-30 something years ago. I paid for a background check on myself through the DPS and it shows a clear history but that is only class B and up.

How or where can I find ALL of my history back to 1980ish? :grumble

Just list the best you can. You can go to each jurisdiction and get traffic convictions, but I wouldn't waste the time.

That was my plan but the interviewing game warden seemed adamant about every conviction. The dates, disposition etc..

I thought speeding tickets and other class C misdemeanor stuff just fell out of the system after 10 years?

You can get a copy of your driving record and make sure you list everything they list.

Thanks, I pulled my record and it shows clear? I guess speeding tickets "fall off" after so many years?
