RIP. I supported him in his bid for presidency. I don't know the ins and outs of AZ law but considering that he did not show up for work since December 2017 should he not have resigned so that another republican could have been appointed?

In the end he will be remembered as a progressive rhino. He was a hero to the left.

I offer my condolences, and sympathies, to his family. I thank him for his service and sacrifice to our country. :patriot:
His actions and words for the last few years of his life, were perplexing to me, in that he seemed to completely change his outlook. Was that a result, of his illness? I don't know. I do know that he was a great Patriot, and ran a very good campaign for President, and did so without stopping to mud slinging.
I choose to remember him for the good things he brought to his office, and not for any political disagreements I may have had with him. RIP John McCain. :patriot:

The only thing I will remember about him is that he had the opportunity to cast the deciding vote to repeal Obamacare, but because of his personal hatred for the President voted no and thus putting the screws to millions of Americans.
