Renewal wait

#1

Post by Pawpaw »

Earlier this afternoon, my next door neighbor lady comes to my front door. It seems she found an envelope sitting in the grass. By the look of it, it's been outside for a couple of days.

It was my renewal notification. It caught me completely off guard, because I didn't realize my CHL expires this year.

I just submitted the renewal and sent my checklist and a copy of my retired military ID. (Yes, I remembered to click the "upload" button.)

I just thought I'd post it here to document how long it takes. I think I remember someone got theirs in 10 or 12 days. No drama if mine takes longer. I've got several months to go on the current license. ;-)

took me from the middle of Nov through the middle of Feb, now they've hired extra people, although I have heard it's temp folks, I think it's only taking renewals 3-4 weeks again.

I've seen some posts on here recently claiming 10 day turn around for renewal.

I'm at 12 days now and the website still says they're awaiting receipt of materials.

On the day I did the renewal, I did get an email confirming they received the documents attached to my email.

I just received mine in the mail today
exactly 20 days from the day I renewed online.
Not too bad.

My old one doesn't expire for two more months.

Plastic in hand today. Well OK, Looking on the clock it was yesterday, 3/19. I just got home. :???:

Starting on 2/21 and ending 3/19. That's 27 days or almost 4 weeks. Not a record, but still not too bad. :tiphat:
