So for those folks that have recently submitted their applications in and are also wanting to see average wait time I will post mine. The only thing I have on my record is some student loans that defaulted but I am in the process of clearing those up. Not gonna lie even though I have read the penal code of elgibilty and I should be cleared I am still nervous. Here are my dates for the application.
07/22/2018- submitted online application $40
07/25/2018- submitted my fingerprints through Identigo after receiving appointment $10
08/11/2018- completed LTC training course(had to wait for an available class) -$95
08/13/2018- email confirmation that documents were received. (The site was down when I originally submitted them so just because I had to be sure, I gave the dps a call and the lady that answered was very polite and laughed reassured me after she pulled up my account that everything was in and all I had to was wait)
08/14/2018- DPS website finally showed application status all green except for a "under review background check" and "print pending"
So hopefully I can add a follow post to this pretty soon letting everyone know I got that plastic in hand. How long has it taken y'all?



08/16/2018-print pending!

08/18/2018- mailed

It too me a couple extra weeks to get the fingerprints in, due to substandard customer service at our local IdentoGo, but as soon as they hit the DPS system everything including BGC went green.

Hoping to see “mailed” soon, and fully expect a couple extra days for the mail to make it up here to my current (temporary) home in Michigan.
