Still waiting. Sigh. I have a horrible feeling I'm going to have to wait close to the 60 day limit. I'm from California, couple speeding tickets, and a misdemeanor from nine years ago. It's nothing that will disqualify me. I've been purchasing firearms in California with their checks and waiting periods just fine. In fact, it was dismissed and expunged a few years ago. Still, that's probably why I have to wait 2 months. SIGH someone reassure me
You'll be fine. We just moved here from out of state (NJ), and it took 12 business days for my background to go green (literally yesterday). I think moving from out of state does add to the wait time because DPS needs to get data from the agencies in your previous state. If it's taking this long, I think it's probably because CA is dragging its feet in getting DPS what it's requesting. I believe the folks at DPS do a good job at this, meaning, when someone is a lifelong TX resident, things seem to move very quickly and efficiently. Just my opinion based upon what I've read here.

FYI, it may not be Texas' fault. They generally contact law enforcement in each county you have lived in to double check records. If the local PD or sheriff is very strongly anti-2A and writes into the policy that those take the back seat, they may not respond for quite a while. It has been known to happen in Texas, so seeing it happen in Cali is quite possible.

Congrats on escaping. Please don't come here and vote blue.... :tiphat:

Just moved here from California in July '18. Here is my timeline so far.
8/23: application submitted
8/28: fingerprints submitted
9/7: class completed, LTC 100 uploaded, confirmation email documents received
9/13: everything green on the list except the last two...background check pending and printing.

Nothing from California on my background, hopefully this moves quick even if they have to contact the last county I lived in since our sheriff out there was very pro CCW.

Is it normal that the fingerprints has been yellow for all this time as well? I get that the various checks with all the places I've lived all over California is taking its time, but fingerprints has not been green this entire time. Does fingerprints and approval typically go green at the same time? Or should I reach out to Identigo and see if they messed up?

Fingerprints and background check took over 50 days to turn green for me. It is hit or miss with these people.

Same here. I don't know if the site has yet to update for anyone but for what it's worth, here is my timeline.

9/8 - Application Completed
9/13 - Fingerprinted
9/15 - LTC Class, LTC100 submitted and uploaded
9/18 - Confirmation of documents received

The status page has yet to update and still says "If you have a pending License to Carry a Handgun application, please allow sufficient time for processing." :confused5

Guess we'll see how much further it'll take from here.
