Anyone changed their address recently and can shed some light on the approximate wait time?

Updated mine in August 2015. Did it online. Believe it took about two weeks. I did my DL and CHL same day and had the CHL several weeks before the DL arrived.

Hope that helps.

Just in case any of y'all were wondering....

I called today purely to just make sure my change of address was in process. The lady kindly told me yes and as I was saying goodbye, she stopped me to say that right now address changes are taking around 45 days. As of tomorrow it will have been exactly 21 days since I sent mine in. And the wait continues............

I just did this. I only had about a week between changing it on the website and getting it in the mail. They were fast. I dont know why they said yours would take so long. I might have been 10 days out.

Same time frame here. I changed mine in May 2015. Maybe took a week for CHL--about 2 weeks for DL. Thought that was very fast.

I'll be moving soon, and have yet to receive my license. I fear calling in to request the address change (if that's even possible) would only prolong the waiting.

Assuming I receive the license after moving, is there any risk/penalties/etc for carrying with an incorrect address if you're waiting for the updated license?
