Any updates anyone?

Its been 5 days and the background check is still under review. I'm hoping by next week but I'm not sure since I'm out of state. There are people on here that got it in a couple of days though.

Do you guys count the days since everything was accepted and the "Background Check Under Review" or do you guys count the days since they started the application (like when you got an email saying (documents received)?

I counted from day email was received which was the next day after sending since it was a Sunday for me.

Remember that the count is business days, not calendar days. Weekends and holidays are not part of the 60 day time period DPS has to complete or deny the license.
The left lies about everything. Truth is a liberal value, and truth is a conservative value, but it has never been a left-wing value. People on the left say whatever advances their immediate agenda. Power is their moral lodestar; therefore, truth is always subservient to it. - Dennis Prager

That is DPS' story, but the law doesn't say that.
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams

“The scope of the record check and the investigation are at the sole discretion
of the department, except that the director’s designee shall complete the record check and investigation not later than the 60th day after the date the department receives the application materials.” I read that as 60 calendar days.
