IDPA Safety Officer Training
Where: Thunder Range
When: Saturday 17 Feb
Start Time: 0900
Course Length: 8-1/2 hours (5-1/2 hours of class time and 3 hours range time.)
Cost: $5 plus range fee*
What to bring: You must be an IDPA member in good standing so bring your membership card and shooting gear. Also, you must have a "Student Packet" containing course material.
Additional Information: The $5 "Student Packet" can be purchased from IDPA Headquarters. Please order your packet and have it in hand for the class.
* The range fee can vary depending on where the range time takes place.
Training Schedule:
2 Hours Intro through Safety Rules
15 Min Break
1.5 Hours Competition Rules through Holsters
15 Min Break
1.5 Hours Ammo Carriers through Classification Match
30 Min TEST (Go to lunch after test)
30 Min Lunch
3 Hours Range Exercises

BTW, if anyone wants to be on the PSC-IDPA email list, send me an email. If you have shot a PSC-IDPA match and have given me your email address at the range, that does not get you on the email list. I still need you to send me an email.
I also maintain an email list for the Texas State IDPA Championship, but since we aren’t hosting it this year, it will only get used if our friends at Collin County IDPA request an email blast.
