DFW carbine challenge

#1

Post by budroux2w »

Well, i did my first competition today. Sportsman Shooting Center in grapevine held a Carbine Challenge today. Its actually a month long challenge and you get 4 tries to beat your initial score. Entry fee was affordable, the group there was extremely friendly, co-ed and all ages.

I felt it was done really well, each person went through each of the 3 stages individually and the other participants had no advance notice of the course of fire for any round. Its kind of a blind challenge with only the rankings being posted (hopefully tomorrow).

I have a feeling that I will have to go back an try and earn a better score.

If anyone is interested in doing this send me a PM an I'll send you the range master's contact info so you can get more details.

It's pretty new so there's not a ton of info on their website yet.

scroll down to "Carbine League"

If you have any specific questions about it let me know.
