Target Trot and Bookstore Boogie

#1

Post by S&Wgrl »

After 89 days of waiting :mad5 I finally recieved my plastic. Oh what a glorious day...I went to Target yesterday with my new buddy the Ruger LC9. I carried with the SmatCarry holster. I didn't feel apprehensive about people noticing. It's a small gun and the holster really does conceal. Of course there are pros and cons to any method. I digress, Target was fun. I felt like I was walking around with a secret no one else was privy to. It felt liberating knowing that I could truly protect myself if necessary. Afterwards I went to a bookstore and walked around. No issues there. My first time carrying was very uneventful.

Good for you! I remember having almost those exact same thoughts when I went on my Wally Walk. It is pretty momentous. The thing is, it does not really change. Sure, you don't think about it all that much during the day, but I sure think hard about it when I strap on in the morning. I pray that the next time I take it out of the holster will be when I get home that night.
