a good article....

I had never carried while walking my dog in the morning...we live in a safe neighborhood...figured the dog was good for a barking, etc...a couple of weeks ago a friend up in CO went walking her dog and dissappeared...now I even carry for "walkies".

I couldn't find the post to credit them, but someone here said " If I were expecting trouble I wouldn't go in the first place." Unfortunately our world has become one lacking respect. No respect for themselves or others brings some to actions those with respect would never commit.

The things I have learned here have made me realize how much I used to take for granted, and now I feel a bit lost when I cannot carry. Not paranoid, but just better prepared to be responsible for myself and my safety, and that of my children.
