Woo Hoo!

The most telling statistic: the number of women applying for a CHL has gone up 266% over the past 10 years.

As the guy who nominated Donna Vandermolen for her 2009 NRA Marion P. Hammer Award, you know I support women and shooting.

That's a great video. Good job! Did you have any trouble getting Cracker Barrel to let you video in the restaurant?

Thanks everyone! It was so great to have a positive media experience involving firearms and to get the word out about the opportunity. The videographer was female and she plans to join us soon. We even taught the reporter how to shoot. Everyone had a great time.

We didn't have any trouble at all. We were all kind of surprised, including the news crew. It was a last minute thought so we didn't get to ask in advance. So we were prepared if they didn't want us to. We just showed up and the news team followed us in. But once we were in, the restaurant was nothing but smiles! Got a LOT of stares from the folks that were in there eating though! :)
