I didnt even know the Jones Hall was still there. Last time i was at the Jones Hall is when i went to see Engelbert Humperdink some 48 years ago.

Just to further confuse the issue, Wikipedia sez
Upon completion, the hall was donated to the city[3], and today is operated by the Houston First Corporation.[6]
so this is another instance of public-owned property not under public control.

Need to get some teeth on the law protecting posting public property, and an AG who will enforce it.

If the property is still owned by the city, the civil penalties wouldn’t apply, but you probably would be exempt from criminal prosecution under 30.06 or 30.07, based on AG Ken Paxton’s opinion letter. See below:

It’s been about three years since I’ve been there but the last time I was there for Handel’s Messiah there was no posting.
