Class B Misdemeanor and Constitutional Carry

Hello guys,
I used to instruct years ago, but got back into an 8-5 job.
Had a former student who is currently being charged with a non-violent class B misdemeanor. I read through the updated penal code and Texas law shields handbook/pamphlet, but just wanted to make sure - He is good to carry under consitutional carry correct while his license is not applicable? All I saw for restrictions was convicted felon or domestic violence. Thanks fellas.

Correct. he can’t have a LTC, but can carry under constitutional carry.
