make sure you are not trying to log into the instructor license portion. I did this a few times while trying to check my CHL status and got denied when trying to log in.

Spud,

I had the same thing happen to me when they first started processing the application. It first said "Processing Application on a Friday, got that dreaded response on a Saturday, then it changed back to "Processing Application" on Monday.

Sporadically during my 49 days of processing I would get a spurious response from the website, then it would change back to "Processing Application" until the "Application Completed - License Issued or Certificate Active" response was observed with the CHL arriving 5 days later. I think their java script implementation is suspect as it does not always seem to be 100% reliable.

Is there any supporting documentation for an arrest or conviction that you sent in with the application?

Well I have been in jail twice, but both were for traffic issues. No violations or issues linked to what might not allow me to get the CHL. I sent a email to them asking if everything was ok, i hope it is.

I dont need to be all freaked out for a month or so but im not sure that I have a choice.

Hopefully this is normal and that just like to mess with pandom people? heh.

Spud,

I would just check it again tomorrow, and then again next Tuesday after the long holiday.

I had a visceral reaction when I saw that response and I know how you feel, but it did change back to Processing Application after a couple of days for me.

Maybe somebody "fat fingered" the entry or it's a java script problem.

An email is the best course and they'll get back to you.
