Help finding a new movie theater in Fort Worth

#1

Post by texag14 »

Howdy everyone,

My fiance and I used to frequent the Movie Taverns around town, but since OC has passed, they've all put 30.06 and 30.07 signs up. Unfortunately, I've noticed this happening with a lot of businesses I used to go to. Now I'm trying to find a new movie theater to go to and I was wondering where y'all go now in SW to W Fort Worth?

The theater I used to go to has also posted 30.06 and 30.07 signs. One option is the Coyote Drive In. They do have non compliant 30.07 signs posted at the ticket booths, which you can only see if your car is tall enough, but no 30.06 signs. They are also relatively cheap. I believe it is $8 for 2 movies.

Thanks for the suggestions. I heard that Texas Movie Bistro in Lake Worth didn't post any either, can anyone attest to that?

Well, if you were in North Tarrant County, I would recommend Keller Moviehouse and Eatery.

Wasn't posted right after the first of the year. can't vouch for what may have happened in six weeks.

The wife and I went and watched Deadpool at The Rave at North East Mall yesterday. They had a 30.07 posted but I did not see a 30.06.

Also that theater removed all of the standard chairs you would expect to find at a movie theater and replaced them with recliners. It was awesome.

Someone may want to check the theater in Hudson Oaks. I've heard that they have not posted.

My fiancé and I went to the Rave motion pictures in the Ridgmar Mall last night and while the theater only has a 30.07 posted, the mall itself has both 30.06 and 30.07 up. It wouldn't be a big deal except that you have to enter in the mall to get to the theater. Saw Deadpool, which was awesome, but I think that'll be the last time we go there until the signs are down. We're going to try the Texas Movie Bistro next.

Is the Hulen Movie Tavern posted now? I haven't been there since Dec.
