Light weight summer shirts for concealed-carry
I'm always looking for light weight shirts for summer. I prefer square cut shirts for concealed-carry with an untucked shirt. I found some shirts at Sam's Club that are perfect for that job. They are the lightest shirts I've ever seen. They are so light, I doubt they'll last for more than one or two summers. At roughly $22, I don't care.
They are vented shirts, but not like the Browning-style shirts with a large vent across the back. They are vented by the underarms where it is much more discrete. They are square cut and rather long for their size (Sm, L, XL, 2XL). Both pockets have Velcro, as do the collars.

What's that name brand? I can't make it out.

Habit. In the stores, the shirts are either $16 or $22, but on the Sam's Club website, they are $29 and up.

Walmart has Wrangler short sleeve button downs for about $15. They hold up well also.

I tried one of those on. Unfortunately they did not fit me right which is odd because an XL is usually no trouble. My wife ended up going to Academy and getting a bunch of the Magellan shirts. $12.74 each. They may have been on a BOGO1/2. They're not square cut.
I like them because they are lightweight, vented at the shoulders, and have the open top pockets for my phone...oh, and cheap.

Re: Light weight summer shirts for concealed-carry
Started wearing these a few years ago and all I wear now. Wear for work and play. On client days I have a few that are quite dressy to select, just untucked. All my shirts in closet are similar style of many colors and patterns. My wife constantly rotates new for old as she finds them on sale. Perfect for conceal and outside waiste carry. Untucked is not as big an issue as once was, and at my age, I do as I want more nowadays, anyway.

Thanks. Sam's app shows all colors/sizes out of stock on line. I was in local Sam's Club last weekend but didn't notice these. Will have to look this weekend when we go.Charles L. I love those shirts. But i dont like that they have to be ironed or drycleaned every timetroglodyte wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 3:04 pm I tried one of those on. This is my favorite light weight shirt for summer casual.

It's almost like not wearing a shirt but to much of everyone's relief, I have a shirt on.

They look good but no Sam's membership and no plans to get one.

Do any of the shirts come with long sleeves?

Sam's has the Habit shirts in long sleeve. I bought one by mistake.
