TX: Never too old

Post by ELB »

I was curious what the total number of active CHLs were at end of 2019 so I looked it up on the Texas DPS website (1,443,195).

While I was there I looked at the report of licenses issued for 2019 (307,981).

Here licenses issued for the upper ages:

Age #licenses
90 100
91 56
92 29
93 12
94 6
95 4
96 1
97 1
98 3
99 1
100 2
101 1

https://www.dps.texas.gov/RSD/LTC/Repor ... Issued.pdf

BTW, there were 438 licenses issued to those under the age of 21.

Just as I continue to renew my driver license ( with motorcycle), I'll continue to renew my LTC. My father, who also has his LTC and will be renewing, will be 90 in 2022. :biggrinjester:
