Carry Guard Level 1 recommendations

Has anyone taken an NRA Carry Guard Level 1 class? If so, what are your thoughts - worth three days and $850?

I'm not sure they are even available yet, so this post may be premature.

BTW, sorry I missed joining you for Medic 1. Just too much going on right now to be able to commit to that full weekend but I appreciated your review!

Thank you for the tips. I have read both threads, but was hoping to hear from someone who has actually taken the class. The first available class date I saw was this weekend, but I don't know if there have been any classes before now.

I was looking at the class in Ennis on 10/6-8 and noticed that the available slots have already dropped from 10 to 8 since Monday.

Did anyone attend the class this weekend in Ennis, or any earlier class?

Not sure if class is worth it or not but a DTI Farnam 2 day defensive pistol class runs $650.. and a Ayoob MAG 40 class is 800.
The Farnam class was worth it and I have heard the MAG 40 class is as well. Of course these men are the apex of their craft.
