AndyC how long does it take for shipping? Just ordered 2 BSI and was wondering about delivery time. Friend now wants 15" or 17" to hang on the wall.

Dang... Three months. Well, that's how long I'll be waiting for mine. I put my order in a couple days ago for the 10.25" version. Fortunately, I'm not exactly in a rush for it. It's not like I don't have a whole bunch of other knives.

I thought that was one o’ those blades that, once drawn, had to “taste blood” before returning to its sheath.

A bunch of beautiful knives for sure. And like Strogg, it's not like I don't have a knife or two dozen. However, I'm warming up to the idea of a new work/field knife. I think I've narrowed it down to three. I also think I'd like the Micarta handle, chisel tip, and maybe the L-Key setup.

Thanks, seph - that's wonderful to hear and I'm sure you'll get them much faster than I got mine.
One month and they are here.

Thanks again Andy!

Nice piece of steel, reading from Amazon looks like the blade is made from spring steel of cars  :biggrinjester:

May be an ignorant question, but let’s say that a friend wanted to see where he could carry this beast under the the carry laws in TX, what would you advise?:
