ISIS went bed to bed murdering sleeping landmine clearing workers.
This, unfortunately, seems legit. ISIS, of course, says it wasn't them. More sources:

They were the wrong kind of Muslims.

Sticky bomb is a bomb attached to a car or in this case a minivan that is stopped in heavy traffic which is common in Kabul.

According to the First VP:

“Pakistan air force has issued official warning to the Afghan Army and Air Force that any move to dislodge the Taliban from Spin Boldak area will be faced and repelled by the Pakistan Air Force. Pak air force is now providing close air support to Taliban in certain areas.”
Wouldn't surprise me if true. I worked in Spin Boldak in 2011-2013 and it was extremely quiet then. EDIT: Neat, didn't know we have Twitter embedding

https://www.overtdefense.com/2021/07/16 ... -kandahar/
Reuters photojournalist Danish Siddiqui was killed on Friday while covering a clash between Afghan security forces and Taliban fighters in the town of Spin Boldak in Kandahar, on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. He was 38.

An Afghan commander that spoke to Reuters said that Afghan special forces had been fighting to retake the main market area of the town when Siddiqui and a senior Afghan officer were killed by Taliban “crossfire”. Siddiqui had told Reuters earlier on Friday that he had received a shrapnel injury to his arm while covering combat in the town. According to the Afghan commander, Siddiqui had been talking to shopkeepers after being treated when the Taliban attacked again, following an earlier retreat.

Taliban appear to have ‘strategic momentum’ says Gen. Milley
https://www.militarytimes.com/news/your ... en-milley/

With the U.S. withdrawal about 95% complete, Milley said the Taliban now control about half of the 419 district centers in Afghanistan, and while they have yet to capture any of the country’s 34 provincial capitals, they are pressuring about half of them.

But will you hear on MSM? Normally bad stuff happens in the world that is difficult to predict, not the person in charges fault and hard to prevent. Here it is predictable, easy to prevent and is the direct result of of the direct action of the President.

But will he be blamed. No. It will be Trump’s fault or nothing we could do. The main thing I am hearing it was their own fault.

Afghanistan capital Kabul could fall to Taliban within 90 days, US assesses

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/afghan ... an-90-days
The Taliban seized three more Afghan provincial capitals and a local army headquarters on Wednesday, attaining control of two-thirds of the nation. The sources said that the intelligence regarding Kabul’s security has been dire for some time.
...
A CIA assessment months ago said Kabul could fall in six months, however, officials say, at this point, that prediction has been cut in half.

Pray the embassy folks are safe, but we all know how this crap show is going to end.
prepare for more videos of americans being beheaded and interpreters still in country to be slaughtered
now china wants to be big hoss in the region, followed by iran as their helping hands

saddens me that we lost thousands of american military brave men and women. we could have stopped it in 02 with moabs (mother of all bombs) and left a big hole and no taliban or AQ.

we should be flying in transports NOW to remove all embassy folks, right now
