Armed robotic dogs now exist.

A "Special Purpose Unmanned Rifle" (SPUR) module is added. This one is in 6.5 Creedmoor.
The sooner I get behind, the more time I have to catch up.

There is a Black Mirror episode, Metalhead, that is about these.

If they want terminators, well, that's how it starts, right there. So, when does Skynet become self-aware?

It may have already been on the forum but here is an article on the Remote / AI controlled machine gun used in Iran by Israel. It seems the rifle itself is a normal rifle. Much of the robotic / remote control componends are not even so ground breaking but, it seems the AI component to compensate for movement and facial recognition etc is relativly new.

Looks like it'd be easy to catch in a pit or with a tripwire. Maybe sneak up behind it. Throw a tarp over it. Lots of ideas.

Here's another idea to sabotage it: invoke its latest software update and the robot dog will have to be on the line with tech support for hours.

Check out the new Epix series War of the Worlds. I won't ruin it. But give it a watch.
