Lock up your pets in SW Houston

I thought this was interesting considering the discussions here about shooting in defense of pets.

Fox News reports

HOUSTON - Cats are being killed, grilled and possibly eaten, that is the complaint filed with the Houston Department of Health.

Though it may seem disgusting to many people, according to the Harris County District Attorney's Office it is not against the law to kill or eat cats.

The only relevant section of Texas penal code is designed to prevent torture, inhumane treatment or cruelty to animals not consumption.

So though the department of health is looking into the complaint it would only be able to prosecute if it can prove the cat was tortured before being eaten.

I sincerely apologize if I offended anyone by my off color comment.

I would have been incensed as much as o.g. did, if anyone said anything about my dogs.

I thought all animals in Texas were considered livestock, wouldn't that be rustlin'?

I think we're back to the 'Get a rope' dioscussion.

Along the same line, we have a large lake in the front of our community which has severl ducks and geese. Not too long ago we had reports of a couple capturing one or two for some reason ...
